Adult male spiders do not build webs, instead they reserve their silk for mating. It is the female spiders that build the webs. Today we know this is false; animals can be fossilized for millions of years. "Fossilized stomach contents are extremely rare" animals can be fossilized for millions of years but fossilized stomach contents are extremely rare.
