When Muslims pray they prostrate to Allah. We bend down so that our faces become parallel to the ground. Now imagine that we don't bend down but rather the ground curves upward in order to become parallel to our faces. But this is what really happens in space. Spacetime curves to become parallel to the star's face. This is because matter tells spacetime how to curve. This action done in spacetime was portrayed in the Quran 1400 years before it was discovered. Quran 55:6

We know from Einstein that my clock and your clock will not run at the same rate. Time (or rate of our clocks) depends on acceleration and/or gravity. If my clock accelerates and/or is in a strong gravitational field then it will run slower than your clock. The stronger the gravity/acceleration the slower the time. So time is relative. Quran 22.47 compares time on Earth with time at Paradise/Hell (1 day vs 1000 years); while Quran 70.4 compares time on Earth with time in wormholes (1 day vs 50,000 years). When angels travel by a wormhole (miaaraj in Arabic معراج) they experience different time than ours. Quran 70:4

Scientist have discovered that there are ripples (waves) in spacetime caused by accelerated masses. This was known recently, however they were portrayed in the Quran 1400 years before they were discovered. Quran 52:9

The universe has been expanding ever since the Big Bang. This was also stated in the Quran 1400 years ago. Quran 51:47

The universe was created by a Big Bang. The Quran says that the heavens and the Earth were meshed together, tight and compact. Quran 21:30.

Cosmologists just confirmed the existence of "Dark Energy", a mysterious repulsive force that acts in opposite to gravity. As the distance increases, the attractive gravitational force decreases but this mysterious repulsive force increases. This repulsive force is pushing galaxies apart; the greater the distance the greater the repulsion. Scientists today do not know what this "Dark Energy" is, but they know that it is causing the entire universe to expand at an increasing rate. Without dark energy the universe would have collapsed in on itself a long time ago. However this was portrayed in the Quran 1400 years before it was discovered: Quran 13:2. The Quran also states that without Allah the universe would have vanished. Quran 35:41
